By car in summer
If you are traveling from Bern, drive first in the direction of Interlaken, then on to Meiringen.
If you want to visit us from Lucerne, drive first towards Brünigpass and then to Meiringen.
From Meiringen you have to cross the Kirchet to get to Innertkirchen. In the village center of Innertkirchen turn off in the direction of Guttannen/Grimselpass. If you follow this road for about 30 - 40 minutes, you will reach the Grimselpass.
If you are planning a visit from the south of Switzerland or from Italy, we recommend to take the route to Bellinzona. From there in the direction of Airolo, Gotthard Pass. Finally to Furka, Gletsch and then you will reach the Grimsel Pass.
By public transport in summer
The journey by public transport is possible. We recommend our guests to inquire in advance about the timetable, as buses run from Meiringen and from Oberwald to the Grimsel Pass.
